Atom LL # 2 - Vision Property Mgmt, 2016-2017 (Ingersoll & District Minor Hockey)

  Ingersoll travelled to Paris on Sunday to take on the Wolfpack and it was an exciting game ending in a 1-0 win for the visitors!

  The team boarded the Express train and headed to Waterford for a match against the Wildcats #1 team.  It was an exciting match with awesome plays from both teams ending with a 5-1 win for Waterford.

  It was as busy weekend at the Ingersoll arena with Carmeuse Lime Tournament filling all the time slots at the arena.  The two Ingersoll Atom LL teams squared off for the first time this season and it was an excellent battle that ended in a 2-2 tie.  Damien Van Damme was rock solid in goal and he was helped by forward Cole Ialenti who was chosen as the player of the game.  Congratulations Cole on your outstanding performance!

  The Express train set out for a beautiful sunny ride on Saturday and made a stop in Waterford for the players to hit the ice at 11:30.  The team was pretty quiet in the dressing room before the game as the players received last minute instruction from parents and coaches.  The puck dropped and 10 seconds later Ingersoll was in the penalty box for 2 minutes for body checking.  The Wildcat player lay on the ice for a minute but made her way to the bench as the players tapped their sticks.  

  The Express train stayed in the station for the day as the Port Dover Pirates sailed into town on Sunday for an exciting rematch.  These two evenly matched teams battled each other all game and it went right down to the final seconds.  It was a fun game to watch from the stands and a heart breaker for the Ingersoll players in the end.
