Novice LL 2 - Butterworths, 2017-2018 (Ingersoll & District Minor Hockey)

The Novice LL2 Butterworths have had a successful second half of the season where they finished with a record of 10 wins and 2 losses. This earned them a tie for first place with Delhi but Butterworths were awarded first place, giving them home ice advantage for the playoffs.

This past weekend, Jan 19/20/21st, the Butterworth novice local league travel to Delhi to compete in their second Tournament of the year. 

The Butterworth Novice Local League started off 2018 with a game against Embro in the Carmeuse Lime tournament.  After leading most of the game Embro got a late goal to tie it to make the final score 3 to 3. 

Butterworths novice played three league games in December.

The Ingersoll Novice LL2 Butterworths team had a busy November, Butterworths played 6 league games and 1 exhibition game ending the month with a record of 1 win and 6 losses.  The month started off with the battle of Ingersoll, Butterworths played the other local team Andersons Appliances.  It was a hard played game and Butterworths were down by 1 goal in the final minute.  With their goalie pulled, Butterworths kept the pressure on but was unable to tie the game up in the final period.
