The Ingersoll Novice LL2 Butterworths team had a busy
November, Butterworths played 6 league games and 1 exhibition game ending the
month with a record of 1 win and 6 losses. The month started off with the
battle of Ingersoll, Butterworths played the other local team Andersons
Appliances. It was a hard played game and Butterworths were down by 1 goal in
the final minute. With their goalie pulled, Butterworths kept the pressure on
but was unable to tie the game up in the final period.
Butterworths then played Embro in an exhibition game. They put up a good fight but was unable to secure a victory.
The 3rd game of November was against Simcoe in Ingersoll. Butterworths played a good positional game and was able to score 5 times to get the win with a final score of 5-2.
Butterworths then travelled to Paris for the 4th game of November. It was a back and forth game but ending with the final score of 2-1 for Paris. The 5th game of November saw Butterworths welcoming Simcoe back to Ingersoll. Butterworths played a good game but was unable to score on Simcoe. Simcoe was able to score twice, giving them the win with the final score of 2-0.
Butterworths travelled to Waterford for their 6th game of the month. Butterworths were not giving up, played a good game but was unable to score losing to Waterford 2-0. Butterworths welcomed Tillsonburg in to Ingersoll for the final game of the month. Butterworths were able to score once but it was not enough to secure the victory. Tillsonburg was able to score 4 times making the final score 4-1 for Tillsonburg.
Butterworths had a rough November but are working hard and improving every game.
