Week 3 for Butterworths
Week 3 had
Butterworths travelling to Waterford and hosting Burford.
At the Waterford game, Butterworths came out strong in the first period but couldn’t get anything pass the Waterford’s goalie. The second period saw Waterford get 2 goals. In the third period, Butterworths came out flying putting a lot of pressure on Waterford but was unsuccessful of finding the back of the net. Waterford was able to score one more, to make it 3-0 for Waterford. We will get them next time. Butterworths second game of the week had them hosting Burford. This game went more in Butterworths favour. Steven Garnham was able to score two goals and Aj Henhawke was able to score one. The whole team played well together. Congrats to Evan Young for his second shutout of the year. That puts the Butterworths team with a record of 4 wins and 3 loses.
