C.A.W. Local 88 - Midget Rep, 2012-2013 (Ingersoll & District Minor Hockey)

    The Ingersoll CAW Local 88 Midget Rep team won the Southern Counties A Division league championship with a 3-2 overtime win over the Tavistock Titans.         Dylan Robinson banged home a centering pass from Branden Taylor just six minutes into the first overtime period to win the game.       

    Branden Taylor scored the game winner and set up two goals to lead the Ingersoll CAW Local 88 Midget Rep team to a 3-0 victory over the Tavistock Titans to win the best 3 out of 5 Quarter final series three games to one. Michael Hazen was great in net stopping all 25 shots he faced for the well deserved shut-out.

       The Ingersoll Express CAW Local 88 Midget Rep team became Regional Silver Stick Champions with a convincing 3-0  victory over the Mt. Brydges Cougars on Jan 2nd in Petrolia. It was the third time these two teams met in the tournament with Ingersoll winning 4-1 on Dec. 30th and Mt. Brydges taking the New Years Day game 4-0.

   You would think that Peter Weys second hat trick of the season would get the loudest cheers from the bench, or how about Michael Nutt also getting his second three goal performance of the campaign. Was it the four point performance from Branden Taylor that capped off the loudest hurrah?    Joshua Taylor received the loudest cheers as he scored his first goal of the year to the excitement of all his teammates to help the Ingersoll Midget Local 88 Rep team to a convincing 8-2 victory over Twin Centre Stars.   

     Michael Nutt set up all four goals as the CAW Local 88 Midgets defeated the Port Dover Pirates 4-1 in Ingersoll Sunday night to remain unbeaten in the regular season. Jordan Travis continued to have hot hands as he tallied twice with Kyle Crossman and Peter Wey also finding the back of the net. Joshua Taylor had two assists while Kevin Hazen and Crossman each had a helper.
