CAW Midgets crowned Southern Counties Champions
The Ingersoll CAW Local 88 Midget Rep team won the Southern Counties A Division league championship with a 3-2 overtime win over the Tavistock Titans.
Dylan Robinson banged home a centering pass from Branden Taylor just six minutes into the first overtime period to win the game.
Branden Taylor gave Ingersoll an early 1-0 lead finishing off a feed from Robinson. Michael Nutt made it 2-0 in the second period scoring from the side of the net with Joshua Taylor getting the assist. Tavistock scored early in the third and then tied the game with the goalie pulled in the last minute of the game to send it to extra time.
Michael Hazen got the win playing well not only in this game but in the semi-final 4-1 win over Caledonia as well.
