Jordan Travis gets hat trick in 5-1 win
Jordan Travis capped off his hat trick with a great shorthanded set-up from Graham Hall to lift the Ingersoll CAW Local 88 Midgets to a 5-1 win over the Tavistock Titans. Kyle Crossman had his second straight two goal game with Michael Nutt adding a couple of assists and Joshua Taylor also helping out with an assist. Michael Hazen had a great game in net stopping 22of 23 shots he faced allowing only a power play goal against late in the game.
It was an important win for CAW squad as it was the first lost of the season for the Titans and it allowed Ingersoll to slip by them in the standings.
On Saturday Ingersoll played in Delhi and Crossman scored twice to lead the Midgets to a 4-1 win over the Rockets. Branden Taylor scored once and had a nifty backpass set-up for a goal scored by Austin Kielt. Randy Weatherhead stopped 18 of 19 shots for the well deserved win.
