U18 Rep C - Carmeuse Lime Ltd, U18 (Midget), 2022-2023 (Ingersoll & District Minor Hockey)

The boys had a tough weekend last weekend dropping both contests they had, 6-1 vs the Ayr Flames and 6-0 to a very strong St. Georges squad. Despite the outcome, the team as they have all season played hard and gave it all they had. It is great to see them play until the final whistle, and even more impressive as they headed to support their teammate Owen Clarke on Saturday night after the game. Very proud on how they showed up in their red jerseys for the Clarke family.

The U18 Rep C squad kicked off 2023 with an exhibition game vs St. Thomas last night. Our netminders Tanner Belore and Brandon Plaquet would split the duties in an exciting 2-2 draw.  

Unfortunately, I missed our road contest where we lost the front half of a home and home vs the Burford Coyotes. The boys lost the game 3-1, however the commentary centered around the fact that the boys played a strong game, in front of Brandon Plaquet who got the start on the road. Our only goal was scored by Luke DeWit, with the apple going to Logan Pare, who seems to fully healed from an shoulder injury suffered prior to the start of the season.

After a tough weekend at Silverstick, the boys finally got back at it as the Express hosted the Ayr Flames at the madhouse. Starting in net tonight was Tanner Belore, who would end up being tested early and often.

We headed east on the 401, back to Ayr in hopes of a better result in game 2 of our Silverstick tournament, this time playing the East Lambton Eagles. Tanner Belore took the net for the Express who hoped for a little bit more offensive flair in this contest.
