Novice LL #1 Anderson Appliances, 2015-2016 (Ingersoll & District Minor Hockey)

  The Anderson Appliance team traveled to Tillsonburg on Friday to kick off their final tournament of the year and South Huron was the first opponent.  It took a half period to get going but Ingersoll dominated the game winning 10-0.  #14 Dylan Craib and #15 Logan Pare had Hat Tricks and #10 Kian Brown lead the team with 4 assists.  #9 Noah Muller was back in the line up and he added 2 goals with #6 Kylah Demers and #19 Tanner Belore adding a goal a piece.  #5  Riley Vyse was solid in net and posted the shut out.  A great way to start off the weekend!

  Burford played host on Sunday to the Intertown "A" finals between Ingersoll's Anderson Appliance and Tillsonburg Tornadoes #1.  Both teams arrived here after wins in Ingersoll on Tuesday night when Anderson's beat Simcoe in a double overtime thriller and Tillsonburg doubled up Canadian Tire in a hard fought battle.

  It was a packed barn on Tuesday night as the 2nd place Anderson Appliance team hosted the 3rd place Simcoe Warriors.  It was an excited atmosphere in the stands as both of the Ingersoll Express Novice LL teams played host in back to back playoff games.  Friends and family of both squads came out to cheer on the home teams and the players rose to the occasion.

  The regular season came to end with the Anderson Appliance team boarding the Express Train for a trip to Burford.  It's been a great season for this bunch of kids and there has been a tremendous amount of improvement from all players.  Covering the games from the "press box" and keeping tabs on the players stats has been a great experience and a bit of an eye opener. 

  It was a home town affair on Monday night with another rematch of 2 great teams.  Canadian Tire won the previous game with a tight score of 3-2 and the kids from both teams where ready to play some familiar faces.  The Anderson Appliance crew started the game off with some determination to get the upper hand and take home the win.
