Anderson Appliance vs. Burford Coyotes #1
The Express Train made the trip Burford on Saturday looking to get back in the winning column after pulling off a 3-3 tie with Simcoe.  The players where warmed up and ready to get the game going but the refs where a no show.  After a small delay (45 mins) and multiple warm up shots, #5 Riley Vyse was stellar posting a shut out!  3 Anderson Appliance players found the back of the net for a final score of 3-0.  The Express train was full steam ahead from the opening face off and #15 Logan Pare and #6 Kylah Demers nearly scored after some nice passing.

The Anderson offence did a great job of moving the puck and getting quality shots on net.  Every player was giving 100% effort and the Burford players struggled to clear the zone.  The defence held the blue line and moved the puck to the net hoping to find the twine.  The puck had many bounces but non found an opening in pads of the Burford goalie who was having an excellent game.  Burford found their legs about half way through the first and Riley was tested on the ice and in the air.  The first points went on the board at 3:41 when Ingersoll's #9 Noah Muller took the puck end to end and finished the play with a nice move to slide the puck behind the goalie!  The play picked up and both goalies faced the added pressure.  The minutes ticked off the clock and the period ended with a score of 1-0 for Ingersoll.
The second period continued with the end to end play and both teams nearly scored on break aways.  The defence did a great job of finding the forwards to move the puck up the ice.  At 6:55 #15 Logan Pare grabbed the puck at the blue line and after a few strides let a wrist shot go that went off the post and in the net to make the score 2-0.  The score board changed again at 2:47.  There was a long dump in from the red line by Ingersoll and the Burford made the easy save.  With Ingersoll making a line change the referee forced the Burford goalie to play the puck.  With a flick of the wrist the puck ended up in the net and Ingersoll was up 3-0.  The period ended with a score of 3-0.
Burford didn't relax and the third period continued with multiple chances for both sides.  The Burford goalie didn't seem rattled and made a great save on a hard shot from #19 Tanner Belore.  Burford did it's best to try and slip one by Riley but the Express goalie kept his eye on the puck and made every save.  The speed of the game slowed as the minutes passed and ended with a final score of 3-0. Congratulations Ingersoll on a great team win!
