Atom Brokelink Rep team Wrap up for Christmas
My apologies for the late reporting of the last three games for the boys. The boys started the Christmas wrap up on December 13th when the travelled to Simcoe to play the strong Warriors.  The Warriors would be the first team to get on the scoreboard, with a goal in the first period.  The second period would see both teams shut out, as the Express boys headed into the 3rd period, they would continue to battle for pucks and with about 3 minutes left in the game, Cohen Alexander would find the back of the net, banging in the rebound from Adam VanDyk.  The Warriors and the Express would continue to battle back and forth for the remainder of the game but both teams would be shut out, ending the game in a 1-1 tie.

As we move closer to Christmas, the Ingersoll Express would travel to Aylmer on December 18 to face off against the Flames.  At 9:52 of the first period, Aylmer would score the first goal of the game.  However, the Express boys would battle back to tie the game at 3:59 of the first period on a goal from Cohen Alexander, assisted by Willie Parsons.  The Express train would continue to roll when Alexander would score with 20 seconds left in the first, assisted by Jesse Jones to pull ahead 2-1.  Both teams would battle hard for every puck in the second period but would be denied any goals in the second period.  Then at 12:36 of the 3rd period, Jax Nguyen would score to put Ingersoll ahead 3-1, assisted by Brody Williams.  Ingersoll goalie Ewan Spence would shut out the Flames in the 3rd period, allowing Ingersoll to win the game with a final score of 3-1.
The final game heading into a short Christmas break the Brokerlink Atom Express team would host the Waterford Wildcats.  The atom Express train would get rolling early in the 1st period when Adam VanDyk would score the first goal, unassisted at 8:27 of the first period.  Twenty seconds later, Landon Skevington would bang in a shot from Alexander to put the Express ahead 2-0 early in the first.  Waterford would answer back with a goal in the first to move within a goal of the Express.  Carrying a 2-1 lead into the second period, Willie Parsons would pop in a rebound on a shot from Jack Wolfe at the point, increasing the Express lead to 3-1.  Again Waterford would answer back before the end of the 2nd.  Heading into the 3rd period with a 3-1 lead the Express train would pick up steam.  The 3rd period scoring was started by Austin Krajewski, assisted by Nguyen at 12:58 of the 3rd period.  Two and a half minuted later at 10:29, Skevington would score assisted by Jones and Ingersoll would pull ahead 5-2.  The Express team was not done yet, at 4:18 of the 3rd period Alexander would score assisted by Nguyen.  Goaltender, Nate White would shut the door on Waterford not allowing a single goal in the 3rd period, giving the Atom Brokerlink Express a 6-2 win heading into Christmas.
Wishing Everyone a Merry Christmas and we will see everyone on December 27th in Alvinston, when the boys will play their first Silverstick game against Wallaceburg.
