Express Host Tornadoes
The Atom Brokerlink Rep team would welcome the Tillsonburg Tornadoes on Thursday November 5. Tillsonburg was sure to be tough competition.
Tillsonburg would be the first to strike at 4:03 of the first period, taking a 1-0 lead into the second period. The Express would strike with the equalizer at 4:12 of the second period when Jax Nguyen would find Cohen Alexander in front of the net to tie the game at 1-1. Heading into the 3rd period, the game tied at 1 a piece, Tillsonburg would score the go ahead goal at 10:56. Ingersoll would battle hard and at 4:34 of the 3rd period, Alexander would find Cameron Freeman at the point who would get a shot on net from the blue line and Tyler Watts would pull out the puck from a scrum in front of the net and lift the puck over a sprawled out Tillsonburg goalie to tie the game at 2-2. With lots of intensity from both teams for the remainder of the game, neither team could find the back of the opposing net and the game would end in a 2-2 tie.
The Atom Brokerlink will travel to Strathroy tomorrow morning to play in the SDMHA Olympic Tournament.
