Atom Express Bring Down the Leafs
On Wednesday November 4, 2015 the Brokerlink Atom Rep team travelled to Langton to take on the Langton Leafs.
After a long delay with some ice troubles, the game finally got started at 7:50pm, the boys came out skating hard trying to skate off the long delay. Then at 6:05 of the first period Cohen Alexander would score Ingersoll's first goal with some great passes from Brody Williams and Landon Skevington. After one complete period, the Express would be up 1-0. At 5:04 of the second period Alexander would score his second of the night, assisted by Williams. Then at the 2:37 mark of the second period, Jesse Jones would beat the Leafs goaltender, assisted by Jack Wolfe and Ty Shapotn. With 0:09 seconds left in the 2nd period Williams would pop one in the back of the net, unassisted, ending the 2nd period with Ingersoll up 4-0. Then at 11:32 in the 3rd period, Alexander would score his 3rd of the night assisted by Williams and Skevington. The game would finish with a 5-0 victory for the Atom Express and another combined shut out for goaltenders Ewan Spence and Nate White.
The Atom Express will host Tillsonburg on Thursday November 5 at the Ingersoll Arena at 7:00pm
