Rolling onto Southern Counties Finals

Just fifty-five seconds into the first period of last Sunday’s playoff game against the visiting Simcoe Warriors, Louie’s Pizza and Pasta were first on the scoreboard as #3 Jacob Branderhorst, assisted by #16 Tanner Moon,  put the puck behind the Simcoe net-minder.  Simcoe would respond at 5:15.  The score would not remain tied long, as Louie’s #7 Tyler Arts lent his offensive service to #15 Tyler Goyette who, at 3:10, made the score 2-1.

Southern Counties Semi Finals

Last night's loss to the Tavistock Titans is the third loss for Louie's Pizza and Pasta in as many games. Despite these three straight losses, Louie's Pizza and Pasta remains in first place in their bid to be number 1 in Southern Counties Playoffs.  Over the past two weeks, Louie’s has shown focus and commitment throughout a very busy playoff schedule.

Friday morning the players and fans of Louie’s Pizza and Pasta Bantam Express learned that Saturday night’s game against the Tavistock Titans would be rescheduled due to the semi-final O.M.H.A. Play Down game between the Glenda Ponsonby Ingersoll/Oxford Realty Express Peewee Rep team (Team Home Page) and the visiting Petrolia Oilers at the Ingersoll District Memorial Centre. It would be a welcome and well deserved rest for the players of Louie’s Pizza and Pasta, who have played three Southern Counties playoff games in five days; all of them wins.
