It all started with a puck drop
Saturday November 2nd, Ingersoll’s Carmeuse Lime/Verspeeten Cartage Pee Wee LL team visited Waterford, where they skated to a 3-0 victory! The team displayed some fancy footwork and terrific teamwork.

Ethan Vlemixx started the game off with the first team goal assisted by Matthew Debryun and David Timleck.  Second period started with some great action as the players stayed on the offence. A loud ping sounds and score!! Camden McDougall scores goal #2 off the post with 4:39 on the clock.  Assists going to Owen Longlade and David Timleck.  Camden rounds out the game with goal number 3 in off the short side in the second period in the second half of 3rd period with the assistance of Matthew Debryun and Ethan Laporte.  A second shut out game for Megan Longlade and Brodi Carbaugh who seen their first shot on goal into the third period.  The team played strong and hard displaying very impressive defense, even getting some whole body puck blocking in. Way to think on your feet team!

They continued their teamwork tonight at IMDC where they hosted Waterford’s second LL Pee Wee team.  I know I used only the edge of my seat for this game!  Under 2 min into the first period, Ethan Vlemixx starts the game off with goal #1 assisted by Colin Dench and Nathan Graham.  They kept the opposition busy as Kiara Haley and Ethan Vlemixx assisted David Timleck score goal number 2.  Only a minute and half later and Ethan Vlemixx scores another one assisted by Nolan Costa and Nathan Graham off the face off.  First period ended with a well played wrap around 4th goal by Camden McDougall with the assistance of Kiara Haley.  The fire continues as only 30 seconds into 2nd period, Nolan Cost and Ethan Laporte assist Camden McDougall score!  A minute later David Timleck follows suite with goal #6! Assists go out to Ethan Vlemixx and Nathan Graham.  Halfway through the second period, Waterford takes their first shot on net…….. and she holds it!! Way to go Megan Longlade!

Third period begins with Devin Jones, Keegan Purdy, Owen Longlade and the rest of the team on the defense as Waterford tries to get on the score board.  No such luck as the team holds them off and Nolan Costa scores a nice wrap around goal in the second half assisted by Camden McDougall and Matthew Debryun.  Ethan Vlemixx and Kiara Haley assist Nathan Graham in scoring the last goal of the game! Final score of 8-0!!! Congratulations to Brodi Carbaugh and Megan Longlade for another shut out game.

Best of luck to all the players as they play their first tournament game on Friday November 8th at 2pm in Ayr at the old Queen Elizabeth arena @ 7 Church Street.  A note to parents that the players must register with the team at the new arena located at 2958 Greenfield Road prior to the start of the game.  Saturday the team plays at 12 pm at the new arena and again there on Sunday morning at 8am.  Sunday evening Carmeuse Lime/Verspeeten Cartage Pee Wee LL team will head to Delhi for a 5:30 regular season game followed by a home game Monday November 11th at 8 pm where they will be hosting Langton at I.D.M.C.
