It was an
action packed game tonight as Ingersoll’s Verspeeten Cartage/Carmeuse Lime Pee
Wee LL team laced up for the semi-final game in Six Nations.
Both teams played a good game in the first period with neither side able to get the puck in the net ending the first period scoreless. Second period starts and Ingersoll is on the move!! With 4:46 on the clock, Keegan Purdy and Nathan Graham assist Ethan Vlemmix with Ingersoll’s first goal!! The puck drops and 20 seconds later Matthew Debryun scores a second goal!! Ingersoll ends the second period with a 2-0 lead. Third period starts and the crowds getting louder as both sides cheer their players on! Ingersoll is working together, passing and having their teammates back. What a long 15 min as Six Nations goes on the offense to try and get a goal. The team’s defense has their goalies back. Final buzzer and THEY DID IT!!!!!!
Congratulations to all the players on winning the semi-finals with a 2-0 score! It was a well deserved win for the team, who worked fantastically together. Huge shout out to Megan Longlade and Brodi Carbaugh on a shut out game and making some awesome saves! I’m looking forward to seeing all of the players, Megan Longlade, Brodi Carbaugh, Nathan Graham, Devin Jones, Colin Dench, Keegan Purdy, Ethan Laporte, Owen Longlade, Nolan Costa, Matthew Debryun, Ethan Vlemmix, Kiara Haley, Camden McDougall, David Timleck and Cole Millard for the Finals game in Langton on Sunday March 9th when they step on the ice at 11:30 am against the other Six Nations team.
