Searles Motor Products Limited - Novice Rep, 2009-2010 (Ingersoll & District Minor Hockey)

On March 23rd, the Searles Motor Products Novice Express travelled to Caledonia for the semi finals on the ‘A’ side of the Southern Counties playoffs.  The Searles Motor Products Novice Express were the only Ingersoll team to make it through on the A-side of the playoffs but lost to a strong Caledonia team 8-2.  The game was much closer than the score indicates and congratulations goes out to the team for their efforts all season and a special thanks to the coaches and parents who supported and cheered on the Searles Motor Products Novice Express all season. 

On February 25th, the Searles Motor Products Novice Express dominated Port Dover posting a 3-0 victory in their Southern Counties play downs.  Maxx Shelton opened the scoring in the first period with an Orr like rush and the Express never looked back.  Riley Ellis and Parker “Wheels” Hodgson added insurance markers to seal the game!

On February 18th, the Searles Motor Products Novice Express lost to Burford 4-2 in a close game.  Ethan Emerson and Tanner Gray scored for the Express while Tory Robbles and Daniel Martineau played solid games but it was not enough to match a tough Burford team.  

On February 11th, the Searles Motor Products Novice Express played their second last game of the ODMHA playoffs against a very strong Caledonia team.  The Express fought hard but ended up on the losing end of a 7-3 game. 

On January 21st, the Searles Motor Products Novice Express opened up the ODMHA playoffs against Tillsonburg.  The Express opened up a 3-0 lead before squeaking out a 4-3 victory in overtime.  Alex Foster had a 2 goal night including the overtime winner.
