Searles Motor Products Novice Rep Team skates to second consecutive 2 – 2 tie this time against Simcoe.
In their own barn on December 17th, the Searles Motor Products Novice Rep managed to hold off a strong Simcoe team and finish the game with their second consecutive 2-2 tie.

On what can only be described a “Paul Coffee” like rush, Alex Foster skated the length of the ice ,beating the entire Simcoe team, to put the Searles Motor Products Novice Rep team up 1-0 at 1:39 of the first period.  Simcoe responded with 2 unanswered goals of their own and after 2 periods, the Searles Motor Products Novice Express were down by a goal 2 – 1.  With some great hard work and solid defensive zone coverage, the Searles Motor Products grind line leveled the score at 2’s.  Tory Robbles scored a beauty on a goal mouth scramble assisted by the Riley Ellis at 3:54 of the third period.  With some last minute heroics by Alex Foster, saving a goal that had eluded net minder, Jacob Ross, the Searles Motor Products Novice Rep team managed to hold off Simcoe to finish with a 2 – 2 tie.  The Searles Motor Products Novice Express are now off until after Christmas.
