Carmeuse Lime - Ingersoll vs Dorchester
Our first game action of the New Year, before our crazy second half kicks off was our annual Carmeuse Lime game. This exhibition event has teams invited by each of the Ingersoll Minor Hockey coaches. Coach Belore lined up a game against the Dorchester Dragons, who were coming off a great tournament win in Buffalo over the holidays, so this would be a great way for us to chip off the rust, and get ready for what will be a very busy couple of months.

Both our goalies would see game action today and both played extremely well. Even though we ended up on the wrong side of a 4-1 score, there were glimpses of excitement and energy from the Express that would help prepare us for our future games, which include our 2nd half Southern Counties playoffs, our first round OMHA series vs Caledonia and a very exciting trip down to Niagara to participate in the International Silver Stick tournament. Our goal was scored by Eli North, who probably could have easily had three or four goals, but credit to the Dragons goaltending tandem that shut the door all afternoon on the Ingersoll squad.

A big shout out to Ethan Kish who was named the Ingersoll player of the game, and who is also getting a chance to play up with the rep squad later today. Congrats Ethan !!

A final practice Monday before we kick it into high gear on Tuesday vs Langton. Then we are off to I.S.S when we face a team from Colorado Thursday morning. The kids will be facing some stiff competition, but as always, they will bring their hard work ethic to the arenas, and make our association proud!! Go Express!!
