Peewee Ponting Financial Group Rep Team Return to Souther Counties Playoffs
On February 25th, the Ingersoll Peewee Rep team would travel to Simcoe, as they returned to southern counties playoffs, to play the Warriors.
Ingersoll would take a 1st period lead at the 5:21 mark of the period with an unassisted goal by Nick Yoworski. Early in the 2nd period, Simcoe would tie the game 1-1. Then with 9:02 left on the clock, Yoworski would score, assisted by Ty Shapton and Westin Matsumoto. Simcoe would answer back with 2 goals in the second period to take a 3-2 lead into the 3rd period.
As both teams battled back and forth throughout the 3rd period, it would end in a scoreless affair and Simcoe would defeat Ingersoll 3-2.
Ingersoll will return home tomorrow night to host the Tillsonburg Tornadoes, puck drops at 7:10pm
