Peewee Rep Boys Win and Tie to End out The 2018/19 Season
The Ponting Financial Group, Peewee Rep team would play Paris and Simcoe in Southern Counties playoff action to end the 2018/19 hockey season.
On Wednesday March 6th the boys would travel to Paris to host the rival Wolf Pack with puck drop at 8:30pm.

As expected this would be a hard fought battle with no love lost between these two teams. Express goalie, Nate White, would shut the door on Paris through the first two periods of play.  However, Paris goalie, would shut out our Express boys as well.
It would be Paris to net the first goal of the game at the 3:53 mark of the 3rd period.  Ingersoll would not roll over, Luke Dewitt would score less that a minute later to tie the game 1-1, assisted by Ryan Wolfe and Wyatt Thompson.   Ingersoll would strike again to take a 2-1 lead with just under 2 minutes on the clock on a goal from Westin Matsumoto, assisted by Ty Shapton and Charlie Ashman.  Paris would pull the goalie, but Ingersoll would not allow them near the net and would skate away with a 2-1 victory.

Ingersoll's final game of the season would be in Simcoe on March 7th against the Warriors at 6:30pm.  Simcoe would manage to jump out to an early 2-0 lead in the first period.  Ingersoll would battle back allowing zero goals in the 2nd period but getting shut out by Simcoe goalie, the game would remain 2-0 heading into the 3rd period.  Ingersoll would come alive in the 3rd period, finally netting a goal at the 9:22 mark, on a goal by Nick Yoworski, assisted by Ty Shapton and Garrett Folkema.  Then with just under 3 minutes left to play in the game Colton Macpherson would find Shapton in the slot, who would beat the Simcoe goalie to tie the game at 2-2.  Ingersoll would continue to press but could not beat the Simcoe goalie and would end their season with a 2-2 tie against the Simcoe Warriors.
Great Season Boys!
