Peewee Ponting Financial Group Play Lambeth in Semi-Final Round
The Ingersoll Express Peewee Rep team would play the Lambeth Lancers in the Semi-final round of OMHA Playdowns.

The first game would see the Ingersoll Express travel to Lambeth on March 1st, 2019.  It would be Lambeth to score early in the first period, taking a 1-0 lead into the 2nd period of play.  Ingersoll would battle hard against a very quick Lambeth team throughout the 2nd period, which would prove to be a scoreless affair.  Lambeth would score 2 goals early in the 3rd period, taking a quick 3-0 lead.  Ingersoll would score at the 10:21 mark of the 3rd period on a goal from Westin Matsumoto, assisted by Wyatt Thompson and Luke Dewitt.  With Ingersoll goalie, Nate White, out of the net, Lambeth would manage to score 2 empty net goals, giving Lambeth a 5-1 victory and 1-0 series lead.
Ingersoll would host Lambeth for Game #2 on March 2nd, with puck drop at 7:00pm.
Lambeth would score 2 goals in the first period and would manage to hold Ingersoll off the board, taking a 2-0 lead into the 2nd period.  Lambeth would score a lone goal in the 2nd period to give them a 3-1 lead heading into the 3rd period.  Ingersoll would score with 12:29 left in the period on a goal from Colton Macpherson, assisted by Luke Dewitt and Nate Pike.  Lambeth would score another goal late in the period and would defeat the Express 4-1, taking a 2-0 series lead.
Lambeth would return to Ingersoll on March 5th, to play Game #3 in the series.  The first period would be a goalie battle, with both net minders shutting out the opposing team.  Unfortunately, it would be Lambeth to get on the board first with 2 goals in the 2nd period.  Lambeth would manage to score 2 more goals in the 3rd before Ingersoll's Jonah Martire would score with 1:10 left in the game, assisted by Garrett Folkema.  This would be the only goal Ingersoll would manage and would lose a tough game to a very quick and strong Lambeth team.  Lambeth would win game #3 by a final score of 4-1 and would advance to the final round.
Great job boys, you all battled hard and we are all proud of your accomplishments.
The boys will return to the rink on March 6th in Paris to play the rival Wolf Pack, game starts at 8:30pm
