Our Ponting Financial Group Peewee Rep team has a busy week leading into a short Christmas break.  On Monday December 18th, the boys travelled to Wellesley to play Twin Centre Stars.  The Express boys would pepper the opposing goalie with shot after shot, finally, with only 2 minutes left in the period, Emmett Gedies would score for Ingersoll, assisted by Nick Yoworski and Tyler Watts.  That first goal would open the flood gates for Ingersoll who would score 3 more in the second with 2 goals from Jax Nguyen and a goal from Jaxson Vandevenne, with assists from Parker Huitema and Gedies.  That would not be the end of the scoring for the Express boys, scoring 4 more goals in the 3rd period.  Dylan Condotta, Nguyen (with a hat trick goal), Watts and Yoworski would be the goal scorers in the third period, with assists from Yoworski, Gedies and Watts.  The final score of the game would be an 8-1 victory for Ingersoll.

Wednesday December 20th, would see the Express train roll into Port Dover to face off against the Sailors.  Again, despite many shots on the opposing net by our boys, the score would be 1-0 heading into the 2nd period with a goal by Dylan Condotta assisted by Jaxson Vandevenne, at the 6:00 mark of the period.  That 1st goal would lead to 5 more goals in the 2nd period.  The goal scorers in this period would be Condotta, Ryan Vandersar, Tyler Watts and 2 from Emmett Gedies.  Those assisting these goals were Jack Brown, Vandevenne, Condotta, Willie Parsons, Jax Nyugen, Watts and Nick Yoworski.  This would give our Ingersoll boys a 6-0 lead heading into the 3rd period.  The 3rd period would see Ingersoll score 9 goals on an exhausted Port Dover team.  Gedies and Condotta would each score their hat trick goals with 1 goal each in the 3rd. Parsons, Ty Shapton and Yoworski would each score 2 goals and Vandevenne would round out the scoring for the period. Earning helpers in the 3rd would be Myles Martin, Shapton, Hunter Collins (goalie), Yoworski, Parsons, Nate Pike, Watts, Carter Aarts and Vandersar.

The final score would be 15-0 for our Ingersoll Express Boys.

Their next game will be Thursday December 21 @ 7:00pm, when Port Dover will sail into town to complete a home and home series.

Then on Friday the Peewee boys will travel to Aylmer for an 8:30pm game.
