The Ponting Financial Group, Peewee Rep team travelled to Paris to play the 1st place Wolf Pack on Thursday November 30th. Although Paris would be ahead of our boys in the standings the boys came ready to play and would be the first team on the score board at the 1:42 mark of the 1st period, when Willie Parsons would bang in the rebound on a shot from Ryan Vandersar. Ingersoll Goaltender, Hunter Collins would shut the door on the hungry Wolf Pack, allowing his team to carry a 1-0 lead into the 2nd period. The Wolf Pack continued to attack the Ingersoll net, but Collins would shut the Pack out. Parsons would strike twice in the 2nd, assisted by Vandersar and Myles Martin, giving Ingersoll a 3-0 lead heading into the 3rd period. At the 11:28 mark of the 3rd period, the Wolf Pack would find a way to beat a hot Ingersoll goalie. They would strike again on a hard slapshot, closing the gap to 3-2. Ingersoll would quickly answer back, pulling ahead 4-2 on a goal from Nicholas Yoworski, assisted by Martin. The Wolf Pack continued to attack the Ingersoll net, managing to pull within one, with 8:45 left in the game. Ingersoll would stand strong, not allowing Paris to score, earning a hard fought 4-3 win over the Wolf Pack. The boys will be participating in the Delhi Tobacco Town Tournament, the first game will be on Friday December 1st at 12:00 against the Mt. Brydges Cougars.
