Express were back in action after an 18 day layoff between games on Friday,
traveling to Paris to face the Wolfpack.
The boys came out fast scoring just over a minute into the game as Zach Lewis backhanded a rebound off a Cameron White shot high over the Wolfpack goaltender to open the scoring. Paris rebounded, evening the score before the end of the first period.
The game remained close through the second period until Paris surged into the lead with less than 30 seconds to go in the period. The third period was much like the second as both teams traded chances with neither team able to score until the Wolfpack notched an insurance goal with a minute and a half to play. Paris tallied one more time as the Express pressed in the offensive zone to make the final 4-1. The Express continue their Southern Counties playoffs with games against Simcoe and Caledonia this week.
