Bantam Reps Host Tavistock Titans
On Saturday night the Ingersoll Express Bantam Rep team took to the ice against the Tavistock Titans. The Express pulled out of the station slow in the first period allowing the Titans to take a 1-0 lead early in the game.
Tavistock scored the only goal in the first period and then again in the first minute of the second. The Express regrouped after that and started to jam. Ingersoll took control and cycled the puck until Robbie Jackson passed to Eric Savoie who nailed a goal from the hash marks to move us within 1. Less than a minute later on the breakout Nathan Gould passed up to Eric Savoie who gave it to Clayton Hammond who carried it in from the blue line and undressed the goalie to tie it 2-2. The game stayed tied into the third until Hammond passed back to Matt Berzins on the D who slid it over to Gould one timing it to make it 3-2 Express. That would be the final score with goalie Noah Robinson stopping Tavi's efforts with their goalie pulled. Go Express!
