Bantam Rep OMHA Semi Final Game Two
The Ingersoll Bantam Rep team hosted the Mt Brydges Cougars on the 26th for the second game of OMHA semi finals.

The Express fell to the Cougars after a chaotic game with some interesting refereeing and losing more players to injury.  Ingersoll scored late in the first period at 3:39 when Hammond put the puck to Savoie who passed to Geddies who found the back of the net with a wrist shot to make it 1-0.  In the 2nd period goalie Noah Robinson would leave the game due to injury and Jayden Purdy would step up to the plate.  At 13:36 in the 2nd Express defenceman Jackson hit Hammond with the puck who then put it over to Savoie which he buried it in the top corner of the net.  The Cougars came back and scored a goal late in the 2nd and two in the 3rd to win the game with a score of 3-2.
Game 3 of the series would be played in Mt Brydges with a sparse Ingersoll team due to injuries and suspension, the Express had 4 defense and 6 forwards.  With different refs keeping the game honest, Ingersoll dug in to try to move ahead in the series.  The score remained scoreless in the first and well into the second then at 8:16 Savoie scored on a 5 on 3 penalty kill.  The Cougars tied the game up at 5:56 to finish the 2nd period 1-1.  At 5:42 in the 3rd Savoie passed to Tanner Gray on the point who let a shot go that found Jentz`s stick which he put in to make it 2-1 Express.  Less than a minute later Jentz got his 2nd of the game assisted by Arts and Geddies to make it 3-1 Express.  Ingersoll would hold the Cougars off for the rest of the game to move ahead in the series 2-1.  Great job to the boys steppin it up.  Game 4 at the Madhouse on Mutual on Tuesday night.  Go Express!
