Louie's pizza Bantam Rep Win Season Opener
The Ingersoll Express Bantam Rep team sponsered by Louie's Pizza won the seasons opening game against the Tavistock Titans on "Think Pink" night raising money for breast cancer.
The Express took an early lead with Eric Savoie taking the puck to the net and putting it away assisted by line mate Tyler Arts. The score would remain 1-0 Express for the rest of the first period.
The second period proved exciting with both teams going hard. Eric Savoie was at it again this time assisting Tyler Arts who let a honey of a shot go to put the Express ahead 2-0. With 10:07 left in the second the Titans would answer with the only goal that goalie Noah Robinson would let in playing a stellar game. With the timeclock showing 7:42 left in the second Clayton Hammond passed across the ice assisting line mate Eric Savoie who drove the net for Ingersolls third and final goal.
The third period the score would remain 3-1 Express with the defense holding strong. Congratulations on the win and also on a great night raising money and awareness for such a great cause. Go Express!
