Dairy Queen vs IPC Securities
Sunday morning saw the third meeting of the Dairy Queen and IPC Security tykes with both teams ready to play.

With Kolten Winkworth in net for IPC and both Riley Vyse in goal for first half of the game and Tyson Weber for the second half, for Dairy Queen, the tykes played a high energy, but scoreless first period.

The second period got underway with Dairy Queen’s, #3, Owen Vanderbaan scoring first but was shortly answered by IPC’s #7, Noah Muiler’s breakaway goal.  IPC’s  #17,  JR Sholdice gave the IPC the a short lived lead with an assist going to #8, Warren Perry but Dairy Queen tied it up 12 seconds later with #5, Lucas Folkema’s unassisted goal to end the second with a 2-2 tie.

The third period saw back to back Dairy Queen goals by #11, Cole Ilaenti with assist going to #15, Travis Newell and a second goal for Lucas Folkema. IPC tried to rally back with a second goal by #7, Noah Muiler but couldn’t close the gap as Dairy Queen went on to win 4-3.
