Sunday morning’s second game between the two Ingersoll Tyke
Teams, Dairy Queen and IPC Securities, was an action packed rally between two
equally matched teams.
With #12, Tyson Weber, in net for Dairy Queen and #4, Olivia Patterson in net for IPC, Dairy Queen was first to scores. In a scramble in front of the net #9 Colton Thompson scored with an assist going to #6 Ethan Kish. That was quickly answered by IPC’s #17, JR Sholdice with an assist by #19, Kolten Winkworth.
IPC kept up the pace in the second period with consecutive goals by #17 JR Sholdice and #18, Mason Durham giving IPC a 3-1 lead. Dairy Queen’s #7, Damon Elliot managed to narrow the gap with a his goal to end off the period.
Dairy Queen came alive in the third period with back to back goals by Colton Thompson and #5, Lucas Folkema giving them a 4-3 lead but couldn’t manage to keep it as IPC’s #9 Daxton Slade tied it up with his unassisted goal. Final score was 4-4.
