Midget Boys continue to struggle...
The Midget LL Boys hosted Port Dover 1 on Sunday night....
With a full bench of boys hungry for their first win, we just could not put enough pucks in the back of the mesh to pull out a win. Port Dover came out strong scoring 3 goals in the first period, rattling Deakin..We were able to hold the score to 3 to 0 until 6:16 left in the second when Port Dover put another one in to end the second period with a 4 to 0 lead. In a game that did not have a lot of penalties the Midget Boys did not give up on their game. Dover scored again in the 3rd with 14:14 on the clock and then Matt Holmes scored for Ingersoll assisted by Dan Maloney and Jack Walters with 10:22 left on the clock making it 5 - 1, Dover then scored again with 4:16 left on the clock, ending the game 6 to 1 for Port Dover. Hoping our boys can keep their heads up and come out strong on Saturday against Langton...A win is right around the corner for them!
