Strong play continues from Midget LL Boys
Two Home games back to back netted us a tie and a win

After netting a loss on January 22nd to Simcoe # 2 team it came to our knowledge of an illegal player and we ended up with a 2 to 1 win in our favour...On February 23rd the boys played against a fully stacked Langton bench.  The first period was filled with multiple penalties from the Langton team but our boys could not capitalize on the power play unfortunately.  Eventually Langton netted the first goal with 2:28 left on the clock..This seemed to light them up and we came back quickly scoring with 1:53 left on the clock by our big man Matty Holmes assisted by Matt Box.  We ended with a locked up period at one a piece.  Langton was yet again first to score in the second period but we answered right back again with a goal by Jack Skillings and assisted by Gunner Nichols.  Langton scored again with 3:34 left on the clock to take a one goal lead and we dug deep and tied the game up with 2:53 left on the clock with a goal by Justin Han assisted by Matt Holmes. Both teams played a tight defensive period in the third and Deakin made some good solid saves to keep us in the game and we were able to come out with a Big Tie to keep our streak going.

In our back to back home game we played Simcoe on February 24th.  Ingersoll played a great first period making some great passes and plays eventually netting our first goal with 4:56 left in the period scored by Jack Skillings assisted by Justin Borland and Austin Webber to take an early lead.  Matt Holmes came out off the face off and scored a sweet goal unassisted with 3:09 left on the clock to give us a 2 to 0 lead heading into the second period.  Simcoe came out with some fire in the second and scored with 6:10 on the clock to come within one, but Deakin kept us in the game making a great glove save and huge pad save to end with a 2 to 1 lead in the second.  The third period we seemed to lose our legs quickly and Deakin was blasted with multiple shots giving up 4 goals in the third.  We could not seem to put the puck in the net and ended in a 5 to 2 loss.
