Winning Streak Continues..
The Midget LL Boys travelled to Simcoe to face Simcoe # 1 on February 12th
Ingersoll came ready to play against Simcoe # 1. Ingersoll netted a goal first in the first period with 5:40 on the clock to take an early lead with AJ Visser scoring the first goal off a pass by Matt Holmes. We scored quick with 3:04 left in the first by a Justin Han shot assisted by Craig Wild and Matt Holmes. Deakin almost kept Simcoe at bay but they scored with just 16 seconds left in the first period to make it 2 to 1 for our Ingersoll boys. We came out quick yet again and scored first in the second, goal scored by Daniel Maloney, assisted by Matt Holmes and Craig Wild again..Simcoe scored with 6:58 left on the clock to bring them within 1 again. Deakin kept the net clear the rest of the period. We played a good solid third period scoring one more insurance goal with 6:39 on the clock scored again by Justin Han, assisted by Matt Holmes and Daniel Maloney. Deakin played a super game and left them scoreless in the third. Great effort by all the boys in keeping their winning streak alive!!! Keep it up boys!
