Midget LL boys continue to struggle
The Midgett LL boys faced Simcoe again on November 2nd and came out with another tough loss.
Our boys came out super strong in the first period keeping up with a very strong skating Simcoe team. Most of the action was in our own zone and our offense and defense worked hard to clear the puck. The period was scoreless until 4:38 left on the clock and Simcoe finally found the back of the net on a breakaway. The second period was very much the same as the first, the boys skated hard and made some hard hits but we just couldn't get any scoring momentum, Simcoe scored another goal in the 2nd with 2:57 left in the game giving them a 2 to 0 lead going into the third period. We seemed to lose steam in the third period and allowing 3 more goals to end the game with a 5 to 0 score. Deakin made some great saves in the game as well as hard work by our defense...
