Uphill battle continues for Midget LL......
Shorthanded bench and multiple penalties made it a difficult struggle for the boys to get anything going....
With only 9 players in total for the game against a very full 17 man squad for Tillsonburg it made it quite difficult for us to get any type of momentum going.
The boys started strong in the first period, taking only one penalty and keeping pace with a strong Tillsonburg team. Seth Deakin made some key saves to keep the period tied at a 0 to 0 score to end the period. Tillsonburg came out strong in the second and third period scoring 3 in the second and 4 in the third to a tiring Ingersoll squad. Our goaltender was kept busy with multiple shots and 3 on 1 breakaways..Jon Andrews had a strong defensive game in our own zone and used his brute strength to the fullest in this game.
We are continuing to struggle in our own zone, clearing the puck and getting any type of breakout momentum...Something to work on in upcoming practices...
