Verspeeten Cartage Peewees Host Langton
Verspeeten Cartage has seen a quiet week. A great time to catch up on some practice, recuperate from all the previous games, and build more team spirit. November 22 brought an end to this quiet time, however, when Langton's Peewee team came to Verspeeten Cartage's home ice.
During this great match-up, both teams were at their best. Verspeeten's goal tending was top notch, as usual, and the energy on both offense and defense was palpable. Three periods of play were filled with excitement. The boys put some great plays together and so many times brought the fans to the edges of their seats. In the end, both teams walked away with heads held high, amidst a tie game of two to two.
Scoring for Verspeeten Cartage was #8, Justin Koch with an assist by #11 Austin George and by #18 Nick Longlade. A second goal was scored by #6, Kristopher Procter, Assisted by #2, Mike Veale.
