Midget Reps win season opener
After going 5-0 in preseason the C.A.W. Local 88 Midget Rep Team continued their winning ways by winning their season opener 3-2 against the Aylmer Flames. Jacob Parkhill lead the way with two goals and an assist including the game winner with seven minutes remaining in the game. Graham Hall opened the scoring with Parkhill assisting. Michael Nutt and Brett Nicholson also contributed with helpers in the game.
Ingersoll Local 88 played with a short bench with only two lines and built a 2-0 early lead only to have Aylmer tie it up with two power play goals.
Blake Telfer had a stellar game in net for Ingersoll making 29 saves.
The teams next action is Oct 21 -23 in a tournament in Port Dover.
