Midget reps go undefeated in Port Dover Tournament
The Ingersoll CAW Local 88 Rep team went undefeated in the annual Midget Port Dover Tournament winning the Consolation Championship against Port Dover by a convincing score of 6-0.

Blake Telfer only had to stop 13 shots to shut out the Pirates as his team controlled the play in the battle against the second place finishers of Pools A and B. Michael Nutt set up four goals including two by Jacob Parkhill and one by Graham Hall as this line combination picked up an impressive total of 19 points in the four games they played on the weekend. Rugged forward Alex Defent chipped in with a goal and defensmen Jesse Shelton and Brendon Harnett rounded out the scoring with both goals coming on the powerplay. Shelton scored on a slapshot while Harnett was playing defence due to a shortage of players because of injuries and adjusted well to this position scoring on an end to end rush. Jordan Travis and Tristen Kostar added assists.
Local 88 reached the final by drawing Six Nations 3-3,  defeating Burford 4-2 and Oro 3-1. Goal scorers for Ingersoll were Alex Defent with three, two by Nutt and singles by Derik Tonin, Parkhill,  Hall, Shelton and Travis  while Brett Nicholson, Hayden Martin and Austin Kielt were among the numerous players with assists. Telfer played all 4 games to increase his stats this season to an outstanding 7-0-1 record with a Tim Thomas like goals against average of a mere 1.88. The team has maintained an unbeaten record of 9-0-1 through their first ten games.
