Game 5 - Carmeuse battles hard in loss to Tillsonburg
We headed down to Tillsonburg with a date with their Rep B squad. Even though the outcome may have been unavoidable, the Express played hard and left the arena with their heads held high after a 8-0 defeat. We were able to hold them off scoreboard for most of the first as Brandon Plaquet who got the nod in net tonight for Carmeuse made save after save until they scored their first of two in the opening frame.
Tillsonburg would score three goals in each of the second and third periods, but the boys never stopped skating the entire contest. This is all in preparation for our first tournament that we are heading to Huntsville to take part in. Your Rep C squad plays Friday against the Norwich Nighthawks, followed by two games Saturday against the host Huntsville Otters and the Arran-Elderslie Ice Dogs. We are looking forward to the boys giving it their all as we represent Ingersoll this weekend.
