Finishing the playoff round
On Tuesday night the Ingersoll Louie's Pizza and Pasta U15 Express finished the playoff round when they headed to Ayr.
The boys welcomed back the Captain Jeremy Stiles, but were missing a few players due to illness. This game was just a preview of their upcoming provincial playdown series in a couple of weeks.
In typical Ingersoll vs. Ayr fashion, the game was a defensive battle with neither team able to score through two periods of play. In the third, Ayr finally broke the tie. The boys had put pressure on the Ayr defense but the goalie stood tall earning the 1-0 victory.
The dates and times are set for their upcoming playdowns series:
Game 1- Monday March 20 @ 6pm in Ayr
Game 2- Tuesday March 21 @7pm in Ingersoll
Game 3- Wednesday March 22 @ 7pm in Ayr
Game 4- Thursday March 23 @ 7pm in Ingersoll
Good luck to the Ingersoll Louie's Pizza and Pasta U15 Express as they pursue a berth at the OMHA Provincial Playdowns tournament in April that is located in Barrie.
