OMHA championship tournament semi finals
On Sunday Morning, the Ingersoll Louie's Pizza and Pasta U15 Express would play the South Muskoka Bears in the semi finals.
Early in the period, South Muskoka was putting the pressure on the boys but Jaxon Pinard was up to the task keeping the boys in the period. It was a physical period with bodies flying everywhere. Midway through the period, South Muskoka would break the scoreless draw and then then would add to the lead shortly there after taking a 2-0 lead after the first frame.
In the second, South Muskoka would score to add to their lead trying to take control of the game. Late in the period, with the boys on the power play, Ethan Kish would put the boys on the board cutting the lead to 3-1 going into the final frame. Ryan Gregg and Urijah Jewkes would get the helpers on the goal.
With the boys hoping for a miracle in the third, South Muskoka went into shut down mode, and late in the period they would score to make the final 4-1.
The Ingersoll Louie's Pizza and Pasta U15 Express season came to end and its the end of an era for rep hockey in Ingersoll. Next season Ingersoll and Tillsonburg will combine to be called South Oxford Storm.
