Struggles in Tillsonburg
Last night, the Ingersoll Louie's Pizza and Pasta U15 Express travelled to Tillsonburg for a Wednesday night tilt.
The first period was the best period that the boys played last night as they had their struggles in the second and third. Aaden Workman scored the lone goal of the period with the assist going to Urijah Jewkes.
In the second, it was a combination of Tillsonburg carrying the play and the boys stopped skating because the game took a drastic turn. Tillsonburg would tie the game in the second and then took the lead in the third scoring twice and their goalie was solid in net shutting down the limited opportunities the boys had.
The final score was 3-1. There isn't much time to dwell on the loss as the Ingersoll Louie's PIzza and Pasta U15 Express are back at it tonight when they host Tavistock at the barn. Hopefully, the boys can chalk this up as a learning experience and come back with their "A" tonight.
