Weekend Away
The boys from the U15 AE team (sponsered by Dove Dental) took a weekend away for some hockey and team bonding in Owen Sound
This weekend the boys along with their families travelled to Owen Sound where they got to play two hockey games for fun. Friday night was played in Chesley and Saturday afternnon was played in Shallow Lake. Saturday morning the boys went on a hike to Inglis Falls Conservation Area where they got to walk the trail and check out the waterfall. The hike was followed by pizza in the community room. After this we were headed to Shallow Lake for our second game of the weekend. Following the game in Shallow Lake we took the night to head to an Owen Sound Attack game. The boys were excited to see Gavin Bryant play unfortunatly Gavin was out with an injury but did take time to come sit with the boys in the crowd. Following the Attack game Gavin surprised the boys coming back to the hotel to play some mini sticks and answer some of the boys questions about his hockey life away from home. Sunday we were back on the road to play our regular season game in New Hamburg. It was a great weekend for the boys and their families. Thanks to Chesley and Shallow Lake for hosting us.
