Aylmer Tournament
This weekend the U15 AE team (sponsered by Dove Dental) played a tournament in Aylmer Ontario. The teams we played included Ilderton, Mooretown, Petrolia and New Hamburg.

First game - (In net this game was #33 Brandon Plaquet). Game one was played on Friday morning against Ilderton at 10am. The boys came out slow for the first and second period they could not get passes to connect or make the plays needed to score, by the third they remembered they were there to do a job and made a great comeback. The end score for this game was 4-3 and goals were scored by:
#6 Ryan Gregg @ 13:12 (assisted by #21 Logan Pare
#16 Tyler Fleming @ 11:54 (unassisted)
#6 Ryan Gregg @ 10:21 (assisted by #18 Owen Deal)
#20 Brody Huitema @6:40 (assisted by #16 Tyler Fleming)

Game Two - (In net #1 Justin Clarke) This game was played on Saturday morning at 11am. Unfortunately the Mooretown net had a hard time "staying on" so the boys were unable to score a goal despite many good shots and close calls. There were a lot of penalties taken this game, the majority being handed to Mooretown with 12 total penalty minutes going to them and 4 total penalty minutes for Ingersoll. Their second boarding penalty did take Ryan Condotta out of play for the remainder of the tournament. I think everyone took a collective sigh of relief when this game was over.

Game Four
- This was the semi Final game - In Net #33 Brandon Plaquet - Game four was played against New Hamburg. This is a team we have played a few times so it was nice playing a team we knew what we were going into. However this is also a team we have both won and lost against. The boys knew if they wanted to win this game they would have to bring their all to the ice for the entire 35 minutes of play. In the first period of play the New Hamburg coach was kicked off the bench and out of the arena for yelling and being disrespectful to the officials. Both teams played a great game however Ingersoll took the WIN Ingersoll goals this game were scored by;
2nd period @ 7:19 #5 Parker Cook (assisted by #18 Owen Deal)
3rd period @ 11:08 #17 Spencer Krajewski (assisted by #21 Logan Pare)

Shots on New Hamburg - 26                                                         FINAL SCORE 2-1 INGERSOLL

Game Five - CHAMPIONSHIP GAME -
The boys were headed to the championship game, this game was played Sunday afternoon at 2:15PM. In net #33 Brandon Plaquet. This game was again vs Petrolia. Petrolia started the period with 3 back to back penalties one for interference, next for USC, and to end the period for Hooking. Second period Petrolia started it back in the box again for interference. Ingersoll's #17 Spencer Krajewski took advantage of that penalty and got the first goal of the game, (assisted by #5 Parker Cook) Third period was here before we knew it and Petrolia again started the period in the box for boarding. Again Ingersoll used this to their advantage where #9 Brandt Kloepfer scored the second goal of the game (assisted by #15 Kellen Whetstone.) Rounding out the period with 2.7 seconds left #9 Brandt Kloepfer and a player from Petrolia were in the box for roughing. Ingersoll won the tournament with a 2-0 final game score.
