Ingersoll vs. Norwich
Ingersoll's U15 AE (sponsored by Dove Dental) hit the road to travel to Norwich on February 15th, 2022 for game 5 of the playoffs. 

In net - #1 Justin Clarke

The game was delayed 20 minutes due to an emergency with the ref's but the boys did hit the ice just a little later then planned. 

First Period - There was a lot of back and forth hockey but the only thing to report were 2 penalties both taken by Norwich first @ 5:54 for tripping and second @4:28 for boarding

Second Period - Norwich started this period with a goal at 14:44. The period got pretty rough really quickly with a lot of dirty hits and pushing and shoving. Justin had an amazing glove save shot from the point, and #18 Owen Deal found himself with a penalty for cross checking at 7:00. Norwich took advantage of that and had 2 back to back goals one at 6:09 and another at 4:34. Ingersoll came back with their own goal by #5 Parker Cook (assisted by #9 Brandt Kloepfer) @4:11. Norwich ended the period with 2 penalties one for boarding and one for interference.

Third Period - Norwich started the period with a penalty for tripping at 12:50. Ingersoll took this to their advantage and scored a goal at 10:33 that goal was scored by #15 Kellen Whetstone (assisted by #19 Charlie Ashman) Soon after at 6:55 #15 Kellen Whetstone scored his second goal of the game (assisted by #16 Tyler Fleming) Ingersoll's #4 Urijah Jewkes found himself in the box at 6:02 for cross checking. While we had one player in the box #20 Brody Huitema was clearing the puck like a boss until he was pulled off for shift change with 30 seconds left of that penalty and Norwich managed to pull a goal off at 4:19. Justin was pulled from the net with the last couple minutes and Norwich got an empty net goal with just 41.6 seconds left.
