Ingersoll vs. Ayr
On Tuesday February 22nd, 2022 Ingersoll U15 AE (sponsored by Dove Dental) took on the Ayr Flames at home. It was a game that you had to be there to believe.
In net for the game was #33 Brandon Plaquet
First Period - Both teams needed a win tonight and it showed. Ingersoll started the period with a penalty taken by #16 Tyler Fleming for cross checking. Quickly followed by our first goal of the game at 3:37 by Jayden Strom (assisted by #20 Brody Huitema.

Second Period - Ingersoll Started this periods action quickly with another goal by #14 Jayden Strom at 14:14 (that goal was assisted by #6 Ryan Gregg), and for the hat trick #14 Jayden Strom landed his 3rd goal of the night in the net at 12:19 (that goal also assisted by #20 Brody Huitema). A lot of back and forth hockey happened before Ayr found themselves in the box for tripping, followed closely by another penalty for to many players on the ice. Following the to many players call the fans on the Ayr team were not happy, some being so upset they found themselves ejected from the arena. There was a long pause of play trying to get them to leave and get the teams back situated. Both teams were now high on adrenaline and ready to get back into play. #6 Ryan Gregg started the action with a goal at 7:28 (again assisted by #20 Brody Huitema). After a bunch of scuffles in front of the net, pushing and shoving #33 Brandon Plaquet received his first penalty of the season for roughing along with a player from Ayr at 5:24 which is also when #20 Brody Huitema found himself in the box for head contact.
