Game # 3 - Express eliminated from SilverStick
Unfortunately, the U15 Rep squad was in tough Saturday vs the Mitchell Meteors. Even though we controlled a good portion of the game, lady luck was on the opponents side as the Express fell 2-0. Credit to Mitchell, whose goaltender made many key saves, and our boys could not solve him. Tanner Belore was stellar in net as well, but a couple of bad bounces created opportunities for Mitchell, and they were able to capitalize on those. Also both Kian Brown and Josh Robles were able to return for today's match after injuries the day prior.
The entire team played their hearts out, and even though the result was not what they envisioned, they made us all proud with their effort and resilience as they all played hard right to the final buzzer.
The boys will be hosting the Rockets from Delhi on Thursday night before shutting it down for the Christmas break.
