Game # 7 - A Draw in North Dumfries
We headed up the 401 with a date with the Ayr Flames. With Colton Macpherson out of this contest, Owen Clarke got the call for the Express tonight. In the net was Jaxon Pinard, who has put together a nice start to the season as well.

There is not a lot in the way of excitement to provide the readers tonight. Our boys played a solid game at both ends of the ice, as the coaching staff has done a great job implementing a system that the boys seem to have bought into.

Dylan Craib scored Ingersoll's only goal as Ethan Kish saw him streaking towards the net, and all Craib had to do was angle his stick and direct it into the cage. It looked like that score would hold up as the Express gave the Flames very little room to work with. In the third, with the Ayr net empty, we looked to seal the deal after scoring in the empty net, however the call on the ice was no goal due to a delayed offside call that had yet to be made.

With the goalie pulled again, Ingersoll did their best to freeze the puck on the boards, but with time ticking down, Ayr through the puck at the net, and slid one past Jaxon who was protecting the post from a wrap around. A look at the clock spoke volumes of the disappointment the boys must have felt as there was only 0.1 seconds left on the clock as the game ended 1-1. The Louie's Pizza and Pasta team, still remains undefeated at 6-0-1 record going into their next contest vs Aylmer. Before that, the boys get a practice in, tomorrow night at 5:30pm tomorrow in Thamesford.

Good Luck Sunday Boys!!
