Game 4 & 5 NOTL Tournament - U15 Rep
Submitted By Rich McNeil on Sunday, November 7, 2021
I will apologize in advance for tonight's brief synopsis on the boys Sunday. It has been a long weekend for all involved, and I'm sure everyone, including myself is looking forward to sleeping in their own beds tonight.

First off, the Express hit the ice with a date with the Rockets from Strathroy. We needed to win or tie to play in the finals later today. The boys played a real solid defensive game and were able to come away with a well earned 3-1 victory. Goal scorers for the Express were Noah Muller, Josh Robles and Colton Macpherson. Tanner Belore had another solid performance between the pipes. A goal midway through the third period, broke Tanner's shut out streak at 8 periods.

In the finals, we went up against a strong Stittsville squad and ended up losing 5-1. Our lone goal was scored by Colton Macpherson. The team did all they could to compete, but the tank seemed to be empty. Full credit to the Rams who were a talented squad, and played a strong game. Jaxon Pinard played great and made some incredible stops early to keep us in the contest.

The team certainly can hold their head high, as they played with the integrity and class we have come to expect from this group of kids. The team gets a few days off before picture day and a home contest vs Tavistock on the 11th.

Thanks for such an entertaining weekend boys!! Bravo.

A quick update from Watford, as the U15 rep squad dropped a 1-0 game to the Price Edward County Kings. The Express started slow but gained momentum throughout the contest, however the team was snake bitten today, as we just could not buy a bounce.

I was unable to attend this match up between the Titans and the Express, but the boys were victorious 4-2, however much of the narrative was it was not our best effort. Jaxon Pinard got the win between the pipes.
