1st game
This past Saturday, the Canadian Tire Atom LL2 team played their 1st game of the season against Tilsonburg 1.
Our team started off strong with the 1st goal of the game going to the opposing team with only a few seconds left of the 1st period. The home team came out strong in the 2nd period scoring 4 early on making it 5-0 at the end of the 2nd. Our team rallied together in the 3rd with Owen (#12) scoring the 1st goal, assisted by Sheldon (#9). Tilsonburg managed to score one final time making the final score 6-1. Our goaltender saw a lot of action throughout the game and made many key stops.
This week, our team will play Tilsonburg 2 on Saturday at our home opener which will be played in Thamesford. Game 3 will be played next Sunday in Ingersoll against the Burford Coyotes.
